One might ask: What the heck is a Newbie. A Newbie is the new kid on the block. A Newbie is fresh fish. A Newbie is that P. T. Barnum sucker that is born every day. The original term comes from a combination of the words new boy. The origin of the word Newbie was not meant to be especially complementary. However the use of the word in Internet marketing is meant to be harmless. I think. The Newbie name identifies a brand new player on the playing field. In fact the Newbie is arguably the most important player on the field. Hundreds are entering the field of Internet marketing daily. Newbies have hopes of replacing or supplementing their jobs with Internet incomes. Newbies have visions of fine cars, a yacht and sugarplums dancing in their heads. Many Newbie Baby Boomers now realize their retirement income may not keep up with the increasing standard of living. They are excited by the idea of working at home in their pajamas, robes and boxer shorts. Me too! Some Newbies come to the Internet marketing game experienced in other fields of work. These job and life experiences can breath new life into Internet marketing. When a Newbies creative experience combines with the laws of the Internet marketing universe; new ideas are created. These new ideas can lead to a customized form of Internet marketing. Niche marketing is this customized form. Niche marketing allows the Newbie to use his own creative experiences as an edge to finding money streams that other Internet marketers might have ignored. The Internet marketing phenomenon is like no other in the history of the universe. Fortunately, there is no shortage of teachers. This is where Newbie Meets Guru. In this arena, knowledge is exchanged for money. The Newbie fish is fried here. He/she must be reborn in the smoke of the experience. If not reborn, the Newbie will be consumed by the hungry Guru. Ninety five percent of all Internet business fails in the first year. The Guru knows all and is all in the Internet marketing world. He/She alone holds the secrets to The Rise To Money And Power. The philosophy of the Guru is kind: If I show you how to get everything you want Then I will get everything I want The Guru is wise. He/She knows the pitfalls that the Newbie must face. You see; all Gurus were newbies once. The Guru will even share some secret knowledge for free. Most Newbies do not understand the language of the Guru. It is the Gurus difficult job to bridge the gap between the two. It is the Gurus job to teach the Newbie the language and technique of Internet marketing. The Newbie must have an unshakable desire to understand the language of the Guru. As the saying goes, Rome was not built in a day. So it is, that the Newbie must go thru a Rite of Passage. The Rite of Passage is a learning curve. The learning curve is the time it takes to absorb the knowledge and skill of Internet marketing. A Newbie must have a burning desire to implement this knowledge thru action. A Newbie must be persistent and not easily discouraged. A Newbie must find the right Guru for him/her. All Newbies are not created equal. Some come into the Internet marketing game with greater understanding and skill than others. All Gurus are not created equal. Some Gurus are more forthcoming in their sharing of information for money. There is a saying, When the student is ready the teacher will come. In the Internet marketing business, many teachers will come. One of the easiest ways to shorten the learning curve is thru Affiliate Internet marketing . As a Newbie Affiliate Marketer one does not need to have their own product, website, or merchant account.
